With a firm resolve, the eldest brother made it known, "I will convene the Committee myself, sister. We cannot afford to delay any longer. Our survival depends on breaking through their stubbornness and garnering their support." His words hung in the air, a stark reminder of the harsh reality they faced in the unforgiving lands of Nullswood.

Princess Zaylen-Tu met their resigned gazes with a mixture of determination and sorrow. She understood the burden of their decision, knowing that the fate of their kingdom rested upon their shoulders. With a firm nod, she accepted the weight of their shared destiny. "We must find a solution," she declared, her voice unwavering despite the turmoil within. "For the sake of our kingdom, and for our own survival." With a sense of grim resolve, they embarked on their quest, fully aware that the choices they made would shape the future of Nullswood and all who dwelled within its shadowed embrace.

Yet, as the night wore on and the moon continue to cast its cold light upon the castle walls, Princess Zaylen-Tu retreated to the depths of her laboratory. There, amidst the flickering flames of the alchemical fires, she labored tirelessly, combining strands of cold-worm DNA with the ashes of her elder pure vampires and the remains of ahmen hair. In her pursuit of salvation for their dwindling kingdom, she sought to create a concoction that would defy the very laws of nature—a serum to be injected into her womb, in hopes of birthing a new hope for Nullswood.

In a moment of desperation, Princess Zaylen-Tu injected herself with the serum, her hand trembling as the needle pierced her skin. Her sweat craddled her face like a closed off cave. Within seconds, the effects surged through her body, more excruciating than the earth swallowing the dead. Agony ripped through her veins, every nerve ablaze with searing pain. She screamed, her voice echoing off the stone walls of the laboratory, a primal cry of anguish that pierced the night.

Tears streamed down her face as she begged for rest to be free of this, for time to reverse its course and spare her from the torment engulfing her. In the tunnel of agony, she clung to the hope that the suffering would relent, that somehow, she would emerge from this trial unscathed. But as the pain intensified, consuming her every thought and sensation, she realized that there was no turning back—the irreversible transformation had begun, and she was powerless to stop it.
